Cabin

A Collab I did with May, I was working on this before getting pulled off this project -_-, I pretty much modeled the whole room and props, I think the lantern and the cabinet were downloaded from Turbosquid.com, I textured a few things before passing it over to May, she is the one that finished up texturing whatever needed it and she did a wicked job in lighting it up and making everything look pretty...aaah wish I got to finish it up >_<.

progress report...

so me and 2 other guys got pulled off the original project...and got put on this Duck project called Season's Journey ....aaand yeah I been working super slow on this cuz just not too interesting. But my boss asked me today (friday) to sent him a progress report on the project so this is what I pulled out -_-....saaad.

What I been up to...

Yeah...so I haven't drawn a single thing since co-op started....but this is what I been working on in co-op...a weird looking lighthouse, bridge and the rock the lighthouse is on. This is actually a collab with Andrew, he actually built that middle study room glass part of the light house, and he's suppost to be providing all the little props in it.

All done in 3D Studio Max.

bored in halifax

so yea, im really really bored, and i was thinking about those traid films like infernal affairs and i came up with an idea. im gonna have 3 guys around a table arging about something and it only takes place in one room. then the camera goes outside of the room and u hear 2 gun shots leaving only 1 survivor and i kinda ended it there. anyways here are some of my concepts, any suggestions to make it better? (visually and story wise).

Aachi and Ssipak

saw this Korean feature animation and I gotta admit I was pretty impressed with the animation itself. With this from Korea, TMNT from HK, Paprika from Japan, I feel like Asia really is surpassing North America in terms of animation...all we have here is shitty Flash animation and lot's of 3D films. Hey guys, I just wanted to post this WIP that's been bothering me for the longest goddamn time. I already got some input from Chien Yu but I wanted to see what you guys thought. It's supposed to be a CD cover for a company that sponsors and promotes Japanese Rock/Pop/Punk. I just wanted to try my hand at doing some more designy stuff and less illustrative stuff. There's supposed to be typography added in after I did the picture. I wanted to do some solids coloring...but i'm really not used to it, I cant get the colors right... /cry

just something I was drawing a few days ago in the studio, I was cleaning up some animation for a 4th year film and felt my lines weren't as smooth as I wanted it to be, so I was sorta using this character as practice making simple shape and keep the line flowing smoothly...and after awhile this is what came to be.

Here is my first post that actually involves art, anyways I been trying to mimic this new style influanced by the book Lucha Libre, I find the style really appealing to me and the book it self looks pretty funny...even if I don't understand it, cuz is in french. -_-

Here was the first stab at it, can't say I have it down yet cuz it's actually a pretty challenging style I find it. But feel free to crit. (if anyone actually comes here) Why triads?....I just wanted to draw cool guys in suits like that one character in Lucha Libre.
